I'm an author, self-employed hairstylist and mother of my fourteen year-old son, Hunter...and a life-long fan of Michael Jackson. Being close to MJ's age, I saw him perform for the first time on television performing with his brothers and have been hooked ever since!

Michael's music has inspired me to dance, sing and dream for most all of my 53 years. His philanthropic and humanitarian endeavors as well as his love of this planet that we call home have always been traits that I admire and I can only aspire to be as good of a human being as this incredible man was.

Although I have done TONS of research on MJ for my story, I am most fortunate to have a more personal glimpse into the real man that Michael was via my best friend who was close friends with Michael for over 30 years. Her insight into the man he truly was behind the scenes are invaluable and I want to take this opportunity to thank her publicly even though she holds her memories and friendship with him very sacred and private to this day. I love you, "Red"!

In closing, I hope I entertain you as well as give you, the reader a chance to know the real Michael....not just the "King Of Pop".

If you're going to dream, dream big...if you're going to love, do it with as much passion as you can....if your going imitate the "greats", don't do it just as well as them, do it better!
