MICHAEL Joseph McCOURT

I've lived and taught mainly in Middle School as a Math & Science Teacher.I have a B.S. Degree in Elementary Ed. & Mathematics w/a Minor in Science from Northern Michigan University/Men's Swim Team & a Med in Secondary Ed. & Advanced Mathematics from North Texas University.

I've taught & lived on the Cheyenne River Indian Reservation in Red Scaffold,SD,Laredo,Texas/City wide program for At-Risk Students/7th Grade/ages of at least 17,so mostly 17 & 18 year olds.Next,Last School District/Lake Worth, Texas/Taught 6th Grade Math & Science/included Co-ED Sex Education.Throught my teaching career,I allowed/10 minutes weekly for my Kids to ask me questions besides the subject matter.Once they were over w/questions about ME,we had conversations concerning them and learnt they were not the Only One w/this problem.It helped them to Open Up more, so they enjoyed attending class/Math! I also would break up fights in the Hallways that included knifes. Since they felt safe & knew that I cared ,they ended up calling me " DAD!"Since I'm w/out any Bio 1's, it still makes me a Proud Man.

Currently,I'm on Disability do to a T.B.I.,but able to move about even with Severe Arthritis on both knees.I feel that walking does a lot of good.I'm unable to jog or run or even walk up stairs w/something assistance.I subscribe to over 15 Magazines/NO PICTURE 1's LoL, because I feel you can learn more than reading a book.

Being around people talking and listening, you can learn more from their experiences and knowledge.I feel that I learn something new everyday.

I'm currently without a True Friend = Someone that we share our deepest thoughts.

Concerning My health, I have Thyroid Cancer for the 2nd time & been having C-DIFF/since May 2013.Since I don't have a driveable car,I'm unable to receive medical help w/these issues, so I've decided to Stop taking ALL medications starting on 12-7-2013.

Also,I've been disowned by both my parents and sibblings.Ex: I came over to my parents house a few days after a sister's Funeral & my Dad told me that I wasn't allowed in, since they had guest/Sister,Niece & her friend.He has this route by meeting outside and state the same,so that will be the last time.I haven't seen or heard from them in over 2 1/2 years & more Happier person,because the way that they treated me.
