Maria João Neutel

After five years working as a journalist and three reporting for the main Portuguese TV channel, I decided it was time to go back to school. In 2012 I packed my life in five boxes and moved to London. I have just finished my Masters in Digital Media at Goldsmiths University.

This year gave me not only a deep theoretical understanding of how the digital world is transforming the unplugged one, but also the critical tools to think about and challenge preconceived notions of a digital future.

I have experience as an online and broadcast journalist, as well as a news producer. I'm used to work under tight schedules and under pressure.

I love travelling, crafts, Murakami, fox-trot, sleeping, Hendricks, dark chocolate, José Saramago, sunny mornings in Lisbon & rainy evenings in London.
