Broadcast Engineer in Appleton, Wisconsin

Read my blog

This is the story of a radio engineer and IT technician. I grew up in a town that has two high schools in one building (Go West Bend West!) and swam in high school. I went to college at UW Oshkosh and majored in Radio-TV-Film and minored in Computer Science. While in college, I was more focused on radio, being involved with the campus radio station, WRST, in production, on-air, sports, engineering and technology, maintaining the website and social media, and eventually becoming the Assistant Program Director managing the streaming content. I also was somewhat involved with the campus TV station, Titan TV, in behind-the-scene roles. After college, I eventually was able to get into engineering in radio.

I like sports. While the only sport I ever competed in was swimming in high school, I am a big Wisconsin sports fan. I will always be cheering for the Packers, Brewers, and Badgers.

People look at me as being the “master of the web and all things technological.” I have maintained websites and social media for myself and some organizations. I try to keep up with the latest technology news and trends.

Life has not been easy for me, having experienced bullying while growing up and not exactly knowing my place in the world. Struggled with not feeling very good about myself for a while, but since I have restarted my faith in God, things have really started to turn around.
