Michelle Jurado

My name is Michelle Jurado. I am an aspiring journalist, wife, daughter, sister, and mother to a beautiful four-year-old boy.

I started A Mom Republic as part of a project for one of my courses in college. Being that I was a working, first-time mom, I was looking for tips on how to balance work, school, family, and still have a little time to dedicate to myself. In absence of that, I soon realized that most first-time moms I came across had the same issues. Shortly after, I began to do my own research on several topics and issues related to children, home life, and health and beauty. As a result A Mom Republic was born.

A Mom Republic is a place where moms can share and learn of each other's experiences in order to achieve a balanced lifestyle in the midst of a so called modern world.

I want to note, that I am not an expert, just a parent who is now part of this mommy kind of world.
