Maxwell Kamin

Amherst, Massachusetts

My name is Maxwell Kamin. I am a junior finance major studying in the Isenberg School of Management at UMass-Amherst. I have a passion for entrepreneurship and hope to one day run my own company within the Real Estate industry.

My entrepreneurial spirit first came to light a few years back when I was working at an apparel company as an operations intern. I quickly realized that I could make a lot more money designing and selling t-shirts on my own. So I did. From there I began recruiting other ambitious young people like me to do the same. I currently work as a sales representative for this company and continue to actively recruit aspiring apparel vendors.

The summer after that I stated my own window washing company. I was inspired by a friend of mine who had done the same the previous summer but with the help of a college franchising company. I figured I could do it on my own and not have to pay any fees to a franchising company. It was a cool learning experience and I did ok financially but quickly learned that any type of manual labor is not for me.

I'm currently working on my newest project 'Well Done Productions. 'Well Done is an events and promotions company focusing on promotting live music shows at local bars and small venues. I am in the absolute earliest stages of production with 'Well Done but am very excited to grow it out over the next few months.

In the future I hope to break into the Real Estate industry and eventually open up my own consulting firm or perhaps even my own investment fund.
