Michelle Kasprzak is an established contributor to the field of digital culture as a curator, educator, writer, and artist. Currently she is the Course Leader of the MA Design at the Piet Zwart Institute, as well as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. In 2024-25, Michelle is also an invited lecturer for the Digital Art department at the University of Applied Arts, Vienna, Austria.
Michelle has curated exhibitions and public programmes for organizations such as Future Flux Festival, V2_ Institute for Unstable Media, the Dutch Electronic Art Festival, ZERO1 Biennial, and others. Her writing has appeared in numerous magazines and exhibition catalogues. She is a sought-after moderator and event host, having worked with VPRO, Het Nieuwe Instituut, FIBER Festival, and many others.
Her postdoc work focuses on two projects: analysing the design and construction of landscape to create renewed ecosystems (Painting with Bulldozers); and examining the role of art and design in science communication (PRESAGE, NWO-funded project).
In 2024, she founded Little Earth Mountain, a label for artist's multiples and printed matter.
