Michelle Kasprzak is an established contributor to the field of digital culture as a curator, educator, writer, and artist.

Michelle has curated exhibitions and public programmes for organizations such as Future Flux Festival, V2_ Institute for Unstable Media, the Dutch Electronic Art Festival, ZERO1 Biennial, and others. Her writing has appeared in numerous magazines and exhibition catalogues. She is a sought-after moderator and event host, having worked with VPRO, Het Nieuwe Instituut, FIBER Festival, and many others.

Her postdoc work focuses on two projects: analysing the design and construction of landscape to create renewed ecosystems (Painting with Bulldozers); and examining the role of art and design in science communication (PRESAGE, NWO-funded project). She also participates as a co-investigator in the Artistic Process Futures and AI project initiated by researchers at Tilburg University.

Currently, Michelle is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, and invited seminar leader in the Digital Art department at the University of Applied Arts, Vienna.

Michelle completed her PhD in Digital Media within the UT Austin | Portugal CoLab in 2020 (supervisors: Sandra Silva (University of Porto) and Chris Csíkszentmihályi (Cornell University)).

She has an essay in From Commons to NFTs, a book now available from Aksioma Press.
