​ I am a B. sc. Electrical Engineer, FIE, CE(i) and continuing Design & Engineering on substation & Transmission line up to 400 kv for the last 43 years. I have been continuing my job around 33 years as assistant engineer to chief Engineer in West Bengal State Electricity Board ( now WBSETCL), India Up to March 2012. After retirement, from April 2012 I was Appointed by Govt. of Tripura as Board of Director (Tech) in Tripura State Electricity corp. Ltd (TSECL), India and continued upto Nov.'2016 (extended but relinquished). After that I have joined as Advisor in SPML Infra Ltd., kolkata to solve some EHV substation work Aided by World Bank (completed by Nov.'17) & KND Engineering, kolkata to solve Transmission Line related work & continuing till date. I am engaged with design layout, high resistivity (5000 o-m) earIhmat, etc of 33 kv substation at Kalimpong &mangpu, Darjeeling district a client of WBSEDCL. I am a facaulty member of HRD department OF WBSEDEL, george Telegraph & save life security ltd. and taking classes (Engineers & Technicians) time to time till date. During my tenure my two important achievements are - as Chief Engineer, WBSETEL I have first time introduced 132 kv Gis, 132 kv UG cable (630 srmm), high ampacity conductor( AL-59), optical fibre protection & communication, etc beside my other design activities another is as Director (tech), TSECL a non- refundable grant amounting to Rs.1372.20 cr. sanctioned for improvement of Tripura power system from Govt. of India & World Bank by lot of Interacting with World Bank, CEA, Power Dept, GOI and Power Grid of India. i have done more than 70 nos. EPC substation& line specification, DPR, design & engineering upto 400 kv and more than 300 inspections on substation equipment upto 400 kv .
