Doris Townsend

I was born in Rapid City, SD, when I was just about "9 months old". My parents moved around a lot the first five years of my life, but we finally ended up in Redlands, CA, where I grew up. I was married following my 3rd year of College (Pasadena College), and my husband, Loren Marner served the Church of the Nazarene for 38 years as a Pastor to four different congregations. I have three children: two sons and one daughter. My husband, Loren, passed away in October of 2002, and I married George Townsend in 2010. I have 7 wonderful grandchildren, and George has 14 of those critters. These grandchildren have given us 7 great-grandchildren.

I live in Colorado Springs, the dream-place of my life, and am retired from working a "job". I now just work when I want to. Life is good, thanks to a Great and Gracious God, who loves me much more than I deserve!
