John Quincy Adams

Hey, John Quincy Adams here. You may have heard of my father... John Adams - Founding Father, 2nd President of the Unied States... no big deal.

Born and raised in Massachusetts (the greatest commonwealth in the Union).

I have been the United States ambassador to the Netherlands, Prussia, and Russia. I was a Senator for M.A., I was the Sec. of State for James Monroe and in my spare time I am a professor at Harvard and Brown (#humblebrag).

Oh yeah, I am also the 6th President of the United States.

I beat out Andrew Jackson in the latest election. He is kind of a sore loser and has been calling it a "corrupt bargain". Henry Clay is totally qualified to be my Sec. of State - no deal necessary.

The American System - This is the policy that I hope to be remembered by. In order to unite the North and South I:

• Improved Roads, Canals, and Railways - to increase trade
• Imposed a tarriff - so everyone will Buy American!
• Created a National Bank - so there is a safe, fair place for the entire country to invest and borrow.
