Martha Lueck

Hello. I'm Martha. I am a published author, a mental wellness advocate, and a strong believer in Jesus Christ. I am also a Northern Illinois University alumni.

My biggest interests include writing, photography, psychology, American Sign Language, and religion.

I've always been passionate about writing, and I enjoy reading memoirs. They're really interesting because they help the reader understand the author's life experiences, actions, and emotions. My favorite memoir is "I Still Believe" by Jeremy Camp.

I was raised Christian and have developed a great love of Christ. A lot of my writing reflects my faith.

Over the last few years, I got my first book published and became a communication leader for Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance Illinois Grassroots Organization. For my communication leader position, I work with my team to educate others about mood disorders and strive to eliminate stigma. In addition to writing about mental health, I update our Facebook page and create personal and educational videos.

I believe that everyone has a purpose in life and the ability to overcome weaknesses. Through my writing and YouTube videos, I hope to bring light to people who struggle with self-esteem issues.
