Mirt Klaar

Mirt Klaar is born in Sorso, a little town on the northern coast of the Sardinia island, in the Mediterraneum Sea, in the second day of October 1961. His youth passed through the much creative and breaking rules decade that were the Seventies. All that spirit influenced his artistic attitudes though he was involved in scientific basic studies. Music (Gustav Mahler, Claude Debussy, György Ligeti, Pierre Schaeffer, Karlheinz Stockhausen, Luciano Berio, Bruno Maderna, Luigi Nono, Goffredo Petrassi ), Painting and Happening seeds shaped him who was living in Italian culture so much xenophile, that phagocytized all the artistic movements from the UK and from the States. Just only twenty years after he started to study arts with methodology, entering at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sassari, where he’s graduated Cum Laude , and there improving those seeds, passing through the ancient Classics till the Virtual Reality movements that were starting at the end of his studies and that has been the core of his final degree thesis. He is a self-taught composer and sound designer.
