Author of Oral Epics of Kalahandi and Visioning Folklore Awarded by Sahitya Academy Award for Folklore of kalahandi 1999.Author of 20 essays on Orissa folklore and three books on Tribal Folklore of Orissa. Recent published book-Odishara Loka kahani by National Book Trust, India, My favourite philosopher is Kuniyoshi Obara who wrote, " Be the first one to take change of unpleasant, the bitterest, the hardest, the most difficult and uncomfortable work in life and do it with a smile." Cultural analysis lead me to understand the world around me.There are many like minded people with similar wave length in this world. I am not alone.I am in solidarity with those who stand for social transformation.For this you need love and spirituality .
