I've played the startup game, worked for a large company, worked as an IT consultant, and worked for small companies. Over the years I've become something of a technologist, in that I understand the pros and cons of many kinds of technology and not just products from a singular company or platform.

I regularly write about shipping software, programming, and other things. I also run the Houston Open Development Meetup.
