I decided to start making the leap from amateur photographer to professional photographer when I did my first actual portrait shoot in 2003. That's when I stopped seeing myself as a person who enjoyed taking snapshots and metamorphosed into someone who thrives on capturing that special spark that makes a person uniquely beautiful.

I love getting to know people and learning about their unique personality traits, then working to reveal those unique traits visually.

I don't believe in taking pictures. I strive to capture memories and turn them into artwork that will be cherished for generations.

I have been blessed to have experienced some wonderful adventures in life. God has led me through high and low times, and He's helped me to learn amazing lessons along the way. Whether I'm taking photographs, writing in my various blogs, preaching, or singing, I approach each task with the intent of sharing the joy and love with which God has so graciously blessed me.

Being a husband and a father are the two greatest joys I've ever experienced. Life is never dull with a family around to keep one focused...er...distracted. The joy that comes from a close connection with one's family cannot be adequately described.
