Hey, I’m Meganne. I’m a student living in Weedsport, New York. I am a fan of crafts, volleyball, and animals. I’m also interested in cooking and DIY. You can view my portfolio with a click on the button above.
I have 2 dogs at home - a boxer and a chihuahua, they are the most loving animals that I have ever had. I was born in Tampa Bay, Florida, USA. When I was 6 1/2 years old my family and I moved to New York. Ever since, I have been changed forever - all of the kind and caring friends I have made, all of the special people I have met, and all of my family that I haven't seen in forever, I can know be with.
In the year of 2018 my team and I were fortunate enough to make it to the Odyssey of the mind state competition! It was the first time I had ever gone to states for the couple of years I have participated in the program. At the regional competition we had nobody to compete against so that meant we automatically went to the next competition. Even though we automatically went to the next competition we still felt very proud to finally be up on that stage winning first place! When we went to the states competition in Binghamton, NY we knew that we had to focus on our performance and try our hardest. We had 13 other teams competing against us, but we didn't let that get to us. We ended up placing 12th put of 14, we were so proud that we made it to States, and didn't place in last! That was the best experience that I have ever had! And it was all thanks to my coaches Mrs.Schwab and Mrs.Thompson.
In 2018 we have had heartbreaking events. In the beginning of 2018 my Mom had a Stroke. It was the most petrifying moment of my life. I was scared for her life, I wouldn't know what I would do without her. I don't know how I would live without her. Before the tragic event my mom had been experiencing many migraines and really bad headaches. We thought something was wrong but my mom would denied every possibility. Until one day I ended up having to call the ambulance, and then the news came that she had had a stroke. Before she had a stroke I hadn't really taken my family as important as I do now. Now I spend every moment I can with my family.
