Maurizio Laudisa
I have never led a team or function that I could not improve: whether at the beginning of my career as a developer, or 25 years later leading global Technology and Supply Chain organizations for multinationals, I have a passion and a talent for unlocking enterprise value through process and technology, removing waste, reducing costs, and increasing operational cadence.
As an Executive, I measure my success in part as being able to return 10 to 20 times my compensation in the form of EBITDA improvements (revenue, cost, or both).
I view my portfolios as a business first, cutting through complexity for C-level and Boards to drive clarity, leverage investments, and expertly manage enterprise risk. I operate by attracting and motivating high performance teams; developing a compelling vision and mission for change; and executing with attention to detail, urgency, and project management discipline.
Each time, I have generated enterprise value: from reducing Harlan’s global IT costs by 25% ($3M savings), to $5 Million in Supply Chain improvements, to lowering Lifelabs IT “Cost Per Patient” from $1.46 to $0.90 ($4M savings). Along the way, I have implemented global systems in manufacturing, supply chains, and healthcare: Hyperion, Oracle, J.D. Edwards, BPCS, Taleo, Salesforce.com and sales force automation, Cognos Business Intelligence for sales and procurement, quality systems like Trackwise, clinical systems for Laboratories and CROs, and outsourced infrastructure.

"You did a tremendous job at rebuilding everything related to IT. It was a pleasure to bring you back and watch your progress as you were "unleashed" on an IT situation that was nothing short of abysmal. The decision to hire you made me look like a genius. Your energy, passion, and managerial courage served you and the company very well indeed." -- Hans Thunem, CEO Lifelabs
