With an eye for anything beautiful, this make up artist turned image consultant lives life to the fullest. Dare to be is her motto! Growing up, she understood the gift of giving.
Fashion and cosmetics were a passion for her from a very young age. Through the years, Gerardine perfected her craft and developed herself from a curious amateur to a professional expert. Still she strived for more, her journey led her to be a creative/marketing director for a dynamic fashion label. There, she learned what it took to build a business and got her up close and personal with the fashion world inner workings.
Modeling as a plus size model opened her eyes to the image consultation field and made her want to focus on inspiring other women. As a speaker, she teaches others that they deserve to be happy, to invest in themselves and to look the part.
Her exhaustive experience includes logistic/coordination for the Montreal edition of the Black Fashion Week. Dove named her woman of the month, featured in Loulou Magazine. She has modeled for Souche magazine, Reitmans amongst others. Additionally, she was the first plus size model to walk the Montreal Fashion Week in 2012. Her creativity inspired her to bring lifestyle blog Paperplane.ca to life. She also created numerous styling conferences and collaborated with Global Tv as a fashion correspondant.
Her experiences led her to coordinate a womens integration program at the Montreal YWCA. Gerardine is motivated by other people's success. She believes we can create the life with want with classy and style.
