Marcus Louie
Currently, I am the Director of Product at NYC-based start-up Collective[i]. We build a product that helps companies make better decisions about their marketing. Before that, I took a leave of absence from my PhD at Carnegie Mellon to lead a small development team at World Evolved, a stealth-mode start-up, led by Stephen Messer and Heidi Messer.
My interests lay in technology, people, and often where the two intersect. For my dissertation, I wrote a computational model to help me study how groups of people form and dissolve cooperative relationships with other groups. I expect to finish in May 2012.
In my spare time I like to ride my bike long distances (some call it cycling) and am training for my first triathlon this Spring.
