Megan Williams is a recent graduate of the MBA program at Simmons School of Management in Boston, with a concentration in Business and Financial Analytics.

Currently, she is a Senior Business Analyst at Liberty Mutual Insurance, a Fortune 100 business, in Boston and will join Liberty's Corporate Development Program as a Senior Business Consultant in July 2015.

Prior to business school, Megan was the President/CEO of Hardy Girls Healthy Women, a national, research-based non-profit empowering girls with knowledge, critical thinking skills, and a platform to drive social change.

During her time with Hardy Girls, Megan transformed HGHW from a volunteer-run, Maine-based organization into a national brand, widely respected for its girl-powered social change approach.

Megan has received consistent accolades for her leadership, such as the 2014 Principled Leader Award from the Simmons School of Management Alumni Association, the 2012 Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce's Rising Star Award, inclusion in MaineToday Media’s 2011 40 Under 40 List, selection for the first ever Open Door Award in 2010 by the Frances Perkins Center, and inclusion on Mainebiz's 2009 Next List. Additionally, while she was president, Hardy Girls was recognized as a 2012 Top-Rated Nonprofit from GreatNonprofits and in 2010 was awarded the Governor’s Award for Nonprofit Excellence for achieving significant results by combining ingenuity with sound management practices and principles.

Megan is past vice-chair of board of directors for MaineShare, an organization providing support to nonprofits doing progressive social justice and root cause work, and is a past board member of the Maine Association of Nonprofits, a membership organization advancing and strengthening Maine's nonprofit sector.
