Mohsen M. Shasha

Mohsen was born March 1987 in Kurdistan, Iran. After specializing in the fields of Math and Physics in high school and passing the one-year exam preparation for getting into university, he was accepted into the Cinema Study program at the University of Art in Tehran. He made his first short film at 2011. He is awarded Best Editing for "Shalvarpoush" at the 5th Nahal Film Festival at 2007. He accepted into the MFA Film Production program at New York University, Tisch School of the Arts, Asia after graduation at 2011. After NYU's decision to shut down the campus in Singapore, he decided to attend the one-year filmmaking program at Prague Film School in Czech Republic. He already had accepted for the program in 2011 and was awarded scholarship form RalphNJ Foundation in New York. He is now graduated from PFS and currently works on his first collection of short stories in English.
