Mark takes pride in his career as a journalist, working for various print and broadcast companies since he graduated from the University of the Philippines Baguio.
He published on e-book formats the police procedural "The Seven-Day Detective" in August 2015, followed by "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" in December, and the #HeistClub e-novel turned paperback “Sampaguita: This City is Crying”, the first book of the ongoing “Sampaguita” series, in January 2016.
He also published stories in several anthologies, the latest of which is part of a Christmas-themed crime fiction collection.
His latest novel is titled “The Secret of Derek Guerrero” under PaperKat Books.
He is currently a news writer for a government news website.
Outside the journalism field, Mark takes up food blogging, crime fiction and poetry, and indulging in anime in his spare time. His inspirations for writing are Anthony Bourdain and Snoopy.
