Mmatlou Gift Tlhako

I currently study towards a Bachelor of Education degree in English and Information & Communication Technology (ICT) at the University of Johannesburg. Being committed to 21st century teaching and learning, I aim at incorporating technology in the English class to enhance students' participation and literacy skills. The philosophy behind my teaching includes the fact that the curriculum should be relevant, engaging, and inclusive for all learners. Apart from the educational field, my passion includes mentoring young people and encouraging them to believe in themselves. Apart from studying and planning lessons, I like spending my time reading books; I am a bookworm who believes in the transformative nature of stories.
