I am an Engineering Manager of AI at Unity Technologies (2018 - present). Our mission is to democratize AI for the Unity platform and its developers.
At AAAI-2019, I chaired the Workshop on Games and Simulations for AI.
Previously, I was a Tech Lead at Electronic Arts within the Intelligent Systems Group (2014-2017) where I focused on machine learning and optimization. My work contributed to several games includes FIFA, Battlefield, Star Wars: The Old Republic, and FIFA Mobile. I also completed three engineering and research internships (2010, 2011, 2012) at Google NYC.
I received my BS, MS, and PhD computer science degrees from UMass Amherst in 2005, 2008, and 2013, respectively. My PhD research focused on improving joint alignment algorithms using unsupervised feature learning (convolutional RBMs) and nonparametric Bayesian techniques (Dirichlet processes).
