Martin McBain

Video games developer over 20 years experience, including Cinematics Director/Lead Cinematics Animator, Lead Animator and 3d Visual Artist positions. I have had the privilege of working on a wide variety of projects including more than 20 video games such as multiple James Bond titles, Batman, Disney and Blue Sky movie tie-ins. A passion for visual storytelling and animation has facilitated a career in directing and producing cinematic cut-scenes and in-game animations for many prestigious gaming titles.

Taking an extremely hands on approach, I am highly involved with all aspects ranging from storyboarding and previsualisation to body/facial animation, rendering, post effects and editing. As Cinematics Director/Lead Cinematics Animator at Eurocom, I was responsible for all cinematography/camera work - from motion capture to key-frame animation.

Working with many high profile and talented actors, I direct both full body and facial motion capture shoots - ranging from stunt and combat to dialogue performance.

After Eurocom, I was hired to bring enhanced cinematics to Rare's (Microsoft Game Studios) Xbox One launch title before moving on to Axis Animation to work on some high profile titles. Since then, I have had the great pleasure of working an a huge movie project at Pinewood Studios - closely followed by another epic and exciting movie.
