After being exposed to a large amount of Electronic Dance Music for most of the 90’s, Michael became interested in DJing and actively pursued learning the craft of beat mixing, harmonic mixing and working his way into the DJ scene. His DJ sets consisted mostly of Trance, Progressive House and Breakbeat music. He initially performed under two names: DJ Muddy and then DJ Eclipse, but started a side project of his own musical production under the alias “Second Sucker of the Family” which would eventually become his main alias due to the fact that “DJ Eclipse” was already taken. After independently releasing a few DJ Mix compilations and two albums, Michael would eventually change his music alias to “Unleaded Logic” after the continued negative reaction to the “Second Sucker of the Family” alias.

As the rave scene in the Midwest started to dwindle by 2005, Michael found himself concentrating less of DJing and more on his individual music productions. At that point, he had been midway into producing his 4th album “Future Fear” and truly felt like he had found his mark in his composing ability. A year after the release of the album, Epic Games released the video game Gears of War and produced a commercial containing the song “Mad World” to accompany the visuals. The song quickly became sought after upon the airing of the commercial and coincidentally, Michael had just covered the song himself. Seeing an opportunity in potential exposure, he released his cover version for free across the internet and waited to see the results. It paid off. Not only was his cover of Mad World downloaded an insane amount of times, but interested people flocked to see what else Michael had created and in turn purchased his full album. Seeing more growth in his individual music then any DJ mix produced, he stopped DJing altogether and just focused on music production.

Michael has continued to release EP’s, albums and even the occasional DJ mix under the Unleaded Logic alias. Most of his material can be found on iTunes or any other major digital music retailer.
