Matt Fox
My name is Matt Fox and I was born in 1996 in Atlanta Georgia. Two years later my family and I moved down south to Albany Georgia because my mom had family there. Albany is where I grew up along with my older sister Camille and my younger brother William. Sports were always a big part of my childhood and my favorite sport to play was baseball, which I ended up playing until I quit my sophomore year of high school. I still love to play baseball but I had to quit to focus more on football, which I am still playing here today. Football really began to take a big role in my life my freshman year of high school when I was called up to play on the varsity. Our team ended up being undefeated and we won the state championship, which was one of my greatest accomplishments of high school. My coaches began to notice around this time that I may have the ability to play some college ball so they began to make me work even harder so that I could stand out. By the time sophomore season came I was the leader of our defense and was selected as an all-state player. From then on I was selected all-state every year I played which brought attention from the Georgia coaches. I came to one of the camps here and when I got the call that they had a spot for me on the team it was like a dream come true and I have loved it ever since.
