Md Mahmudul Hasan is a forestry and climate change enthusiast with over 7 years of experience in project management and research fieldwork. He has worked with local and international organizations to design and implement nature-based solutions that enhance community resilience and livelihoods in Bangladesh and beyond. He is currently a master's student in the Erasmus MEDfOR program, where he is expanding his knowledge and skills specializing in Social and Environmental responsibility in Mediterranean forestry.
One of his notable achievements is the development of the first-ever plant nursery inside the world's largest refugee camp for Rohingya. This innovative project has provided refugees with a source of income and food security and helped restore the degraded environment in the camp. Md Mahmudul is also an active member of The Explorers Club US and the International Association for Ecology and a frequent contributor to Bangladesh-based climate change projects. He is passionate about empowering communities and protecting our planet through sustainable forestry and environmental practices.
