Muhammed has worked in various marketing functions, specialising in financial services and digital technology. He also has consulting experience in the same field and design thinking.

His marketing expertise includes topline and bottom-of-the-funnel strategy (awareness and conversion), which he effectively applies to D2C and B2B brands.

When not designing or executing a data-driven marketing strategy, he is interrogating burning questions as a researcher and/or innovator. His research interests broadly include, but are not limited to, the social sciences, technology and innovation, economics, and development.

He has papers and op-eds in peer-reviewed journals, including on SSRN (an Elsevier eLibrary). He has equally held academic posts, most recently at Kent Business School, Canterbury, the United Kingdom.

He holds an MSc in Fintech with Business Analytics from the University of Westminster London and a first degree in Communications.
