Words define me. Although many people use them solely to communicate verbally, most of the words I use are written. I make sense of my life using a white blank page and a wandering mind. I find healing through words; I find hope; I find beauty; and I find life.

Words describe me. I am a storyteller, eager to find a story in every person I meet. And there isn’t a single person in this world who does not have a story that should be shared. I am a journalist in many ways. A picture is worth a thousand words - This is true. But the two together are worth much more. I am a daughter, sister, granddaughter, cousin, niece and friend. Family is very important to me, and I find most of my inspiration from the people that I am surrounded by. I am a believer that one day I will make a difference, not just with my actions, but with my words.

I could use this space to tell you where I’ve been and where I hope to be 5 years from now. But that’s just the outer layer. Look inside. You will find me in each written passage on my blogs, each picture I capture and each song I post. My story is being written every day. I am just the beginning.
