Mitch Newlin

Mitch Newlin is the name and as my headline states, I'm about to graduate from Vincennes University with an A.A.S degree in Computer/Software Support. At 22 years of age I am ready and looking for work relating to my field of study. I've applied for a few jobs already and hope to receive some good news soon.

I was born and raised in Crawfordsville, Indiana and graduated high school with a Core 40 Diploma. I chose to attend Vincennes University after I visited a while back and I have to say that I'm glad I chose to go here. The classes are excellent and the content is as well.

Since attending the University, I have managed to successfully acheive three certifications. These include the following:

• Microsoft Office Specialist : MS Word 2007
• Microsoft Certified Professional : Windows Operating Systems Fundamentals
• A+ Certification

I intend to receive more certifications from Microsoft and CompTIA in the near future.

In my free time (and when I am not at school) I like to go home and spend sometime with the family and helping out at the local animal shelter. I am a member of ASPCA and am currently working on a website to help spread the word about pets in need in Montgomery County, Indiana. You can find this link below. I am also very interested in learning about computers as well as technology itself. I'm constantly reading new articles posted about various technology topics and like to self-teach HTML, CSS, Visual Basic 2010, and just stay up to date in the cyber world.
