Maria Fournier

I am currently a junior at Louisiana State University studying mass communication with a concentration in public relations. I am also pursuing a minor in Spanish.
I work as a Communications Intern at Grace Church in Overland Park. I have previously worked in the food, retail and caretaking industries.
In the future I would love to work/intern for a special events company, or possibly in a PR firm. If that company happened to focus on serving others in the community, that would be so fulfilling. I would also love to do in-house work in a communications department position.
I have several interests, but I have a main passion for trying new things. From preparing a new recipe for dinner, to zip-lining through a forest, I constantly strive to keep an open mind when I walk into different opportunities.
At LSU, I’m involved with the Leadership team at The Refuge at The Chapel on the Campus. I am confident in my purpose because I have Jesus Christ at the center of my life, and I live to bring glory to His name in all that I do.
