Malcolm Nicholas Jr is never the type of person to believe that people should not conform to the norms of society. Always thinking outside of the box, and being recognized for the influential changes he has brought into others lives has always been his sole motivation. In 2014, he graduated from Woodland High School in Stockbridge, Ga. He now attends North Carolina Central University on their DREAM STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and CREST scholarship as a Sophomore majoring in Physics with a concentration in Engineering. On top of that, he is entering his second year as an Air Force ROTC cadet out of Detachment 585 at Duke University.

Malcolm's current goal is to become a Civil Engineer for the United States Air Force, and become a Red Horse(Rapid Engineer Deployable Heavy Operational Repair Squadron Engineer). Studying engineering has always been his aspiration since he entered his freshman year of high school. Malcolm always thinks critically about the ever-changing world, and wants to make sure that he impacts this world with its ever-changing technology. Malcolm has the intention of spending three years at NCCU where he will study physics, and then complete two years of engineering curriculum at North Carolina State University, and gain a dual degree in Physics and Electrical Engineering.

During Malcolm's time here at NCCU, he has already been exposed to an Emerging Researcher Conference in Washington D.C. and Doctorate and Scholars conference in Atlanta, Ga. He then had an opportunity to attend a professional development program, Operations Air Force, at Joint Base Andrews in Washington D.C.

Malcolm still has a long way to go, but he is determined to use the remainder of his time at NCCU effectively, and leave a lasting impression on his school.
