As a Cyber Security Specialist at Southern Illinois Power Cooperative (SIPC), I am responsible for maintaining SIPC's cybersecurity program and completing the tasks necessary to satisfy NERC CIP requirements. In addition to my position at SIPC, I enjoy teaching part-time for the School of Information Systems & Applied Technologies at Southern Illinois University. I especially enjoy my ability to share real-world experience with students. In my free-time, I enjoy giving back to the community by volunteering as a computer programming and internet safety educator for area youth programs. I am a lifelong learner, extremely passionate about computers, and consider myself one of the lucky few who have a career they truly love.
