Mo Alton
Mo has a career background in needs analysis, creative design solutions, operational administration, infrastructure development, man management and team building. While having been focused on presentation technologies and visual design and deliverables within the university education system as a Director at a Canadian University, these skills have also been demonstrated and honed in a highly eclectic range of areas of endeavour, from being a member of a world class yacht design team in California, to architectural and applied design (including a wide range of materials methodology experience), yacht construction, website and graphic design, a life time as a musician, pro bono work for several non-profit organizations and many years of service helping people and organizations. He has a passion for what really matters in life – the relationships and realization of people’s potential as primary, with material goals as secondary by-products of valuing the human resources. Ethical actions in all things and helping others – especially newcomers to Canada - has become a very important focus in his life. He has recently acquired TESOL certification as an adjunct skill to use helping others and enjoys connecting people with people and support organizations so that they can build their own networks and support friendships. Interested in Asia - China in particular - he is currently studying Mandarin.
