Mohammed is one of Britain's leading Muslim political, religious and social commentators. At the intersection of religion and politics, he addresses a range of controversial contemporary issues - an eloquent and distinctive voice at a time of great social change.
Mo has worked in the private sector a a strategist and diversity specialist. As a community organiser and activist, he has lead cutting-edge national initiatives working with a variety of civil society organisations, government departments and agencies. Mo is an advocate for what he has coined as, the Muslim Civil Rights Crisis. He is an expert on counter-extremism and radicalisation; spent 18 months with the leader of the English far right; tackled foreign fighters travelling to Syria and Iraq. On the national and international stage condemning the Woolwich killing, Mo called for peace and unity amongst communities. Despite retaliation from Al Shabab naming Mo at the top of their most-wanted list, he has vowed not to be silenced and he continues to speak out against all forms of extremism.
