Mark O'Connor

Mark has over 30 + years of experience in Financial Management, technology developments and change management. Qualified as a CPA,CMA with the office of the Auditor General of Canada and advanced to senior executive where he designed and architected the first electronic audit briefcase called AuditPro. He implemented auditor team use of technology tools including IDEA, a data extraction tool of client databases and accounting records. He advised State Chief Audit Officers world-wide and shared implementation the auditors toolsets and methodology. After leaving the Government of Canada as an employee, he expanded his experience into the banking and high technology sectors while founding a private business consulting practice Multi-Access Systems Ltd.

Mark has helped his private and public clients implementing Financial Management and HR ERPs as well as COTS products. His roles included modeling and developing business cases, developing and configuring HR and Payroll functions and leading change management. He developed business cases, created new organization design, developed assessments business operations assessments, strategized and planned the transformation of business functions and business capabilities. He documented Business Requirements, mapped proposed transformational processes, and devised integration approaches for disparate systems information. Mark has coached client staff and advised management in establishing change management protocols, business system promotion, and awareness.
