Modesire Akinbogun
Student, Volunteer, and Public Speaker in Nigeria
I’m Akinbogun Modesire, a health advocate, cofounder and medical student who’s merging the fields of Medicine and Advocacy to drive significant and positive change.
As the co-founder of the Medical Aid and Advocacy for the Vulnerables Foundation (MAAVF), I focus on promoting health equity and providing essential support to underserved communities. My journey in healthcare and advocacy has equipped me with extensive clinical skills and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by vulnerable populations.
My passion for advocacy was ignited through my work with MAAVF, where integrity, compassion, and service are at the core of our mission. We strive to ensure that everyone has access to quality healthcare, regardless of their circumstances.
My academic journey includes extensive training in medical sciences, complemented by hands-on experience in clinical settings. Beyond my professional life, I find purpose in connecting with people and exploring my hobbies: reading, learning about finance and playing sports.
I’m open to connections with like-minded professionals who are interested in exploring collaborative opportunities or discussing ways to advance health equity and support vulnerable populations. I am excited to engage with professionals who are as passionate about making a positive impact as I am.
