Modjossorica “Rica” Elysee is a founder, CEO, and speaker building at the intersection of beauty, technology, and community-powered impact. She is the founder of BeautyLynk®, a tech-enabled platform expanding access to on-demand, on-location beauty services—bringing professional glam to clients while creating stronger, more reliable earning pathways for beauty professionals.

Rica’s work is rooted in lived experience: while supporting a disabled family member, she saw firsthand how difficult it could be to find accessible salons and consistent appointments—and how much confidence the right beauty experience can restore. That insight became a mission: make beauty services more accessible, more trustworthy, and easier to book—without losing the culture and care that make beauty powerful.

She is also the co-creator of Care in the Chair™, an initiative that trains beauty professionals to recognize signs of domestic violence and human trafficking and connect clients to resources safely—helping turn everyday beauty spaces into safer community touchpoints. Across ventures (including prior smart-retail pilots through SLAY), Rica speaks on inclusive innovation, marketplace growth, AI in beauty, trust & safety, and community-driven entrepreneurship, with a global lens spanning Boston, Tulsa, and beyond.
