With over 18 years of progressive experience in software engineering and leadership, I have cultivated a robust track record of designing and scaling cloud-native solutions, driving innovation, and fostering high-performing teams to deliver transformative business outcomes. In my current role as Director of Software Engineering at Asana, I lead a dynamic 93-member engineering organization that specializes in developing resilient, AI-driven cloud-native services. Leveraging serverless architectures such as AWS Lambda and DynamoDB, I spearheaded initiatives that improved system reliability by 35% and reduced latency through intelligent load-balancing techniques. Additionally, I engineered end-to-end data orchestration pipelines for AI model training, accelerating time-to-market for analytics products and enhancing prediction accuracy. These contributions have not only driven measurable ROI but have also solidified AWS’s position as a leader in innovative cloud solutions.

At Adidas, I served as Head of Engineering, where I directed cross-platform initiatives to optimize application robustness and scalability. By implementing container orchestration with Kubernetes, I enhanced cloud resource utilization and significantly reduced downtime through real-time telemetry and log analytics. My leadership extended to coordinating the global 2020 Run For the Oceans campaign, preparing the platform to handle over 250 million participants. I also played a pivotal role in integrating the Adidas Running app with major platforms such as Garmin, Polar, and Zwift, creating a seamless multi-device ecosystem that amplified user engagement and satisfaction.

Earlier in my career at Webroot, I established the Web Threat Shield organization, transforming a small team into a 20-member unit capable of delivering cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions. Under my leadership, the team developed the Web Threat Shield product, incorporating kernel modules, distributed cloud systems, and browser plug-ins. These innovations contributed to generating $230 million annually and enhanced Webroot’s reputation as a leader in the cybersecurity domain.

Throughout my career, I have consistently aligned technical strategies with organizational goals, fostering innovation and driving operational excellence. Feel free to reach out and connect with me on LinkeIn.
