As former Miss Black Tulsa of 2002 and Miss Black Oklahoma of 2002, Moenike Sims promoted “Academic Achievement Through The Arts.” She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Dance and Arts Management at OCU. Teaching over 500 students and performing in front of thousands in South America, Moenike continues to set international growth and extension in the arts and education programs as a Fine Arts Educator, consultant, mentor, director, and much more.

In 2007 she moved to New York and was commissioned to choreograph presentations for top political leaders. Moving back to Tulsa in 2011, she became the Fine Arts Teacher at Edison Preparatory School and Founder/Director of Edison Dance Company. Moenike raised an astounding $21,000 in 3 months to take her students to NY to further their dance skills and knowledge of the entertainment industry.

Currently residing in South Florida, she stays active in her community. She has started fine arts departments for churches worldwide and continues to mentor young girls and teens.

Her career as a director, choreographer and consultant spans all areas of the entertainment industry, bringing a diverse range of experiences to her clients. Get ready to see a new book from this woman coming soon!
