Mohamed Abouelnasr
My name is Mohamed Abouelnasr, from Egypt, born in 1982. I'm married and have 3 kids.
I have graduated from faculty of education, department of German language, 2003.
I joined the military service till 2005, during this time I was teaching German in the military language institute. From 2005 till date I’m working as a project manager at Future Group translation services, Cairo Egypt.
I started my career as a project coordinator, was mainly for the German companies, who the contact persons there speak only German, like Siemens, SKF and other companies. Proudly I have achieved a very good success in this piece of business, so that I got the “employee of the year 2006”.
I was responsible for overall completion of projects, providing accurate deadline estimations to clients, selecting the most appropriate resources to ensure both quality and deadline expectations are met and also for dealing with any problems that may arise during the projects duration.
I have then promoted to a project manager in 2007, my rules and responsibilities were bigger and more challenging. During this time I was handling projects in large scale and more difficulties.
In 2009 I was promoted to be senior project manager acting as team leader, with 5 persons under my direct supervision; 3 project managers and 2 sales people.
In November 2011 I was nominated by the company to travel to England to establish our office there, and I did it in a very efficient way and the office is successfully established in Derby.
In 2012 I was promoted to project management manager. My duties were coaching, supporting and monitoring the team, which consists of 6 project managers and 3 sales persons. In this time I was dealing with the largest projects that comes to the company, with millions of words to be translated in a very short time.
From June 2013 I was promoted to a regional project manager in addition of being a member of PMO Office Committee. My team was about 18 persons.
After all these successes and challenges, I really miss the execution of projects. I feel happy when doing two things; speak German with customers and handling translation projects.
I was in Germany for about 3 times in my life, for short visits to some relatives and friends, in Dusseldorf. One of them was a business visit to attend a customer meeting in Cologne. Also I was in the UK two times, in 2011 and 2015, in order to attend a conference and to establish our office there.
