I was born in 1957 and had my early schooling and intermediate at Trikaripur in Kasaragod district. I did my graduation in B.A English from Payyannur College and pursued a diploma in Computer programming from Bangalore. After completing my education, I decided to embark on my first career in the Gulf, which was my spring board. Even while rendering service in different GCC countries, I had pinned hopes of an entrepreneurial venture all along, which culminated in the birth of Sulfex Mattress Company in 1985.

I always embraced the traits of grit, perseverance and resilience which helped me scale new heights.
