Mohamed Yousfi is a Tunisian investigative journalist and the current Editor-in-Chief of Al-Qatiba, a digital platform specialized in in-depth journalism and investigative reporting across Tunisia and the Arab region.
He teaches Investigative Journalism to Master’s students at the Institute of Press and Information Sciences (IPSI) in Tunis, where he plays a vital role in training the next generation of investigative reporters. His professional interests include data journalism, explanatory journalism, and open-source investigations (OSINT).
Yousfi has extensive experience in radio and television, having hosted and produced several political and investigative programs, notably the daily show "Houna Tounes" on Diwan FM radio. He has also produced documentary films, including one about Tunisian trade union leader Habib Achour, which aired on Al Jazeera Documentary Channel.
His articles and analytical pieces have been published in several specialized journalism and media outlets. He is the recipient of multiple awards, including the Amnesty International Award for Human Rights Journalism.
Previously, he served as the Assistant Secretary-General in charge of press freedoms at the National Union of Tunisian Journalists (SNJT) and was a member of the Ethics Committee at the Tunisian Press Council.
Yousfi has participated in numerous cross-border investigations in collaboration with the Global Investigative Journalism Network (GIJN) and the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP). He is a frequent speaker at major international conferences on journalism and investigative reporting.
