Mohammed Arif is presently engaged with Warwickshire County Cricket Club as part of the Community Development team, where he is focused on expanding the reach of the game. Previously, he served as the National Growth Manager for Diverse Communities at the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).
Significant Achievement's
- Strategic involvement in the formulation of the ECB's South Asian Action Plan, designed to diversify, develop, and grow the sport. Furthermore, he oversaw the implementation and performance management of this plan across twelve regional projects, which collectively engage 61% of the South Asian population in England and Wales through the respective County boards.
- Concentrated on driving transformative initiatives aimed at expanding the game of cricket and ensuring inclusivity for all stakeholders, whether they play, attend, officiate, coach, or work within the sport.
- Additionally, Mohammed took on the role of ECB project leader for the Breaking Boundaries initiative, a £1.8 million, three-year national program funded by Spirit of 2012.
- Breaking Boundaries successfully engaged 379 Champions, who collectively contributed over 3,500 volunteer hours to support the program's implementation.
