Mohsen Shirali (born on 14 Bahman 1362 in Ahvaz ) is a poet and songwriter.

Mohsen Shirali is a graduate of hydraulic structures engineering and currently has a doctorate in the same field, and his main job is teaching at the university and managing Navai Asatir Art Institute. He is not married yet and lives in Ahvaz . [ requires source ]
Shirali wrote his first song in 1981, and in 1987, during his acquaintance with Saeed Mohammadi, he brought his first song to the ears of Persian speakers. Later, he got to know famous people such as Siavash Qomishi , Babak Jahanbakhsh , Sirvan Khosravi , Abi and Shadmehr Aghili and collaborated with them. Babak Jahanbakhsh 's Madar Beirari album can be mentioned among his works . All the songs of this album (except Ashagher ) were written by Mohsen Shirali; which was welcomed by Jahanbakhsh fans. In addition, he has collaborated with Sattar , Shadmehr Aghili , Ali Zand Vakili , etc.
Since 2017, he has organized songwriting training workshops in Ahvaz .
Mohsen Shirali was nominated for the best song of the year in the third {Our Music Festival } (1394) with the song Madar Biirari and in the second year of the Afshin Yadollahi Award (2017), he was nominated for the "Best Songwriter " of the year.

Mohsen Shirali was banned by Iran's Ministry of Guidance in 2012 due to his cooperation with Abiy and Siavash Qomishi . After some time, this ban was lifted.
