I want to help the viewer discover something he or she wouldn’t have discovered without me- a particular accent or relationship that enables us to identify, to realize that it isn’t just a man or a woman or an object or a vision, but one particular man, woman, object or vision. I want to produce what remains when the mind has forgotten all the details.
