Mojtaba Fakhraee

Since my childhood, observing different phenomena from the smallest parts like cells to the most enormous things like galaxies have always been challenging my mind.

Having planned to follow my educations, I participated in the National Entrance Examination to be admitted in full scholarship engineering programs. Fortunately, not only I passed this test, but also enabled me to start civil engineering at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad.

To continue my educational path, I was successfully accepted to kick off my graduate studies in Environmental Engineering at University of Tehran. My long-term intent for future, is to become a research professional at an academic or commercial, research-oriented organization as well as becoming a university professor. Obviously, these goals require graduate studies and supervision of experienced advisors as well as considerable facilities. Therefore, I just applied for several universities over the US and I successfully got an admission from the University of Minnesota's Water Resources Science graduate program to start my Ph.D in the fall 2014.
