Mokomandy is a Korean-Cajun restaurant located in Great Falls Plaza in Sterling, Virginia. Chosen as one of the best new restaurants in the area by Gayot and Northern Virginia Magazine in 2011, the restaurant showcases Korean and Cajun cuisine, putting unique twists on traditional selections. Mokomandy’s founder, Thaddeus Kim, developed his culinary knowledge as the son of a Cajun mother and a Korean-American father. At Mokomandy, he has teamed up with Executive Chef Daniel W. Stevens, a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America, and Sous Chef Marcos A. Nato. Thaddeus Kim and his staff provide a dining experience that combines delicious dishes and excellent customer service.
Menu items change based on the freshest available ingredients. Examples of Mokomandy’s main dishes include gator croquette, steak frites, and bulgogi beef.
