Hey, I’m Josh. I'm a fourth year Zoology student at the University of Guelph. My interests in biology focuses mostly on the topics of Evolution, Animal Behaviour, and Physiology, and how these aspects interact with each other in living creatures.

My passion for creatures stems from a lifetime of living and working closely with them, and I can't imagine living a life that doesn't involve animals in some capacity.

When I'm not in school, I like to be creative with photography, writing, climbing and hiking. I find that combining photography with the outdoors really immerses me in the world and leads to a greater appreciation for the environment around me.

My current aspiration is to become a research technician at a field station in the Arctic. My dream is to fully immerse myself in the hands on aspect of biology and get out of the classroom to get a more immersive knowledge of the ecosystems, environments, and animals that fascinate me. My ultimate dream would be to one day marry my love of biology, the outdoors, photography, and writing together into a dream career.
